We have always been driven by the end result of creating Orchard Park as a brand and not just another garden centre, ensuring that whatever we do is to the best of our ability and with the customer as priority.
As the first signs of summer beckon it is time to get the garden in order and get to all those maintenance jobs that have piled up over the cold and wet spring months! Here are Richard’s top tips on preparing your garden structures for the year ahead!
1. Check and repair pergolas and arches
2. Rub down and treat wooden furniture when dry.
3. Taken action to remove algae from paths if they start to becomne slippery
4. Go through the shed and remove any old or out of date garden chemicals. If in doubt of how to dispose of your local authority tip should be able to help.
5. Ventilate your greenhouse if we have a milder day
6. Check greenhouse heaters are working properley during a particularly cold spell
7. Watch out for Mealybug and Scale insects in the greenhouse
