Spring is here at last and with a newly refurbished department resident florists Nikki and Charlotte are bursting with energy and enthusiasm for this very special time of year!  Its always busy in floristry but both girls always have time  and are happy to offer assistance and advice with any enquiry!!

News Update!

Congratulations to Charlotte who came second in the BFA UK Skills Floristry competition held at Kingston Maurwood College on Sunday 29 April.  Entrants came from all over the UK and were asked to design an unusual hand tie and also a floral necklace.

Charlotte is definitely a rising star in the floristry world, so a huge “Well Done” from all of us!!

 

Everyday Flowers

Our florists work hard to source the most beautiful flowers from local and European growers so we can daily offer the very best.  From contemporary, hand tied aqua wraps to traditional flat bouquets, baskets, pots and posies as well as everyday pick up bunches we are your one stop florist!!

Funerals

We offer a full and flexible service in this area and are team are always available for advice and assistance.  Floral tributes can be made to your personal requirement as well as traditional wreaths, casket sprays and posies.

The Wedding Season

The wedding season has started with a bang, we have a large wedding to prepare for this weekend and the diary is suddenly beginning to fill up!!  If you require our services for your wedding (or any other special occasion) please book early!!

Our Florists

Nikki Whitehouse

After always having a strong interest in flowers & doing arrangements at home and for friends, I went to work at a local florists as a trainee florist & delivery driver. After completing my floristry training & courses I started work here at Orchard Park & am always interested in designing new & exciting things from everyday flowers to weddings & funeral arrangements.

Claire Harris

I have always enjoyed doing flower arrangements at home & have been trained by the in house florist who used to be here. I enjoy assisting & helping with all aspects of the floristry department.

Charlotte Armstrong

Charlotte has been at Orchard Park for nearly a year now and juggles work here with her studies at Kingston Maurwood College where she has already gained a National Diploma and is now in her final year of an NVQ in Floristry.

Her final module is to learn the Latin names of all flowers (Yikes!).

The college has recently picked Charlotte to prepare the flowers which will be displayed at the Weymouth water sports centre during the Olympics.
