Anya’s Gluten Free Chocolate & Almond Cake

110g dark chocolate
110g ground almonds
110g butter
110g castor sugar
3 eggs separated

Method

  • Cream the butter & sugar
  • Beat in the egg yolks
  • In a separate bowl whisk egg whites until stiff
  • Add melted chocolate into butter and sugar
  • Mix in ground almonds
  • Fold in egg whites
  • Place in greased 8” cake tin and bake for approx 25 minutes on Gas mark 4
