110g dark chocolate
110g ground almonds
110g butter
110g castor sugar
3 eggs separated
Method
- Cream the butter & sugar
- Beat in the egg yolks
- In a separate bowl whisk egg whites until stiff
- Add melted chocolate into butter and sugar
- Mix in ground almonds
- Fold in egg whites
- Place in greased 8” cake tin and bake for approx 25 minutes on Gas mark 4
